Americans are fat because we live in the breadbasket of the world and food is plentiful and easy to obtain. Go eat a double beef burrito at Taco Bell it costs $.89 (and is giant), and take under 2 minutes to get from the clerk. The speed and convenience built in the US society (good or bad) lends itself to an obese lifestyle.

I think with president obama talking about preventitive
